The responsible leader takes responsibility and ownership for issues that go wrong for activities within their purview.

2- COLLABORATE is working with others

When new members are added to a team, the collaborative leader works with the new team member and existing team  members to spark excitement, promote support, and nurture the entire team. Successful and collaborative leaders  empower the team members to become future leaders. They provide opportunities for each team member’s success,  and they work to enhance the members leadership abilities as well as coaching and assistance.

3- INFLUENCE is working around others

The influential leader works well around others and showcases their team’s strengths in a positive manner. They make a deliberate effort to continuously present a positive influence on the team as well as they drive members to advance  themselves so that they are promotable.

4- INDEPENDENCE is working outside of others

Leaders should not forget that they have both an internal responsibility and external responsibility to their team. While  working outside of the team, they may be working independently, but they understand that this promotes what the  team is doing internally. The wise leader also highlights how well the team is actively contributing to the overall success of the internal organization.
